We’ve built a list of FAQs to try and answer questions that patients like you have asked. We cover everything from what insurances we accept, to general appointment concerns, and more!

Absolutely!

If we have never evaluated your oral health, ideally, we will start with a comprehensive exam and x-rays so we can provide you a plan specific to your needs, in some cases we may be able to provide a hygiene service at this initial visit.

Our practice is a general dentistry office and some procedures will need to be referred out to a specialist. If that is your need, we will provide you with a referral.

In some cases, this is necessary. You may be required to check with your PCP for your initial visit.

We do not provide sedation at this time.

Yes, however we will require a letter from your OBGYN clearing you for treatment, and noting any restrictions.

We can provide you information on how to proceed with your treatment plan when we review it with you.

Generally speaking, every 6 months, but some oral health conditions require more frequent visits.

Ideally, every 3 months.

Your new patient forms will come to you electronically via text or email. There is nothing to download or print, you will log into a secure link, using your last name and DOB. Once you have answered all the questions, you will sign with your finger and save. This will place your information directly into your secure chart.

There are lots of signs that you need to take a trip to the dentist. While pain is the biggest indicator that something is wrong, the trouble isn’t always obvious – which is why we recommend regular trips to our office! Some of the biggest signs for an unhealthy smile are:

  • Mouth sores
  • Jaw pain
  • Redness
  • Swollen face or gums
  • Tooth sensitivity
  • Broken teeth
  • Dry mouth
  • Bleeding gums
  • Bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth

Short answer: yes. Long answer? Even if your teeth feel fine, there may be something going on that you can’t detect. Seeing a dentist regularly makes sure that any potential or existing problems can be found before they become a serious issue.
